Florida real estate brokers are required to take TWO 30-hour post licensing courses (online or CD-ROM) prior to the first renewal or their Florida Real Estate Broker License will be null and void.
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will SATISFY the educational requirements to renew their first Florida Broker's license.
Course completion process
We are automatically notified of your course completion when you successfully pass the final exam for your course. The Thursday following your completion we will email your official course completion slip to you. The same day we email your course completion slip we notify the Bureau of Education and Training electronically of your completion. The Bureau of Education and Training keeps track of the post-license and continuing education credits for the DBPR. If you need to contact the Bureau, their number is 850-921-8582. All you need to do is fill out your renewal form and mail it in with your renewal fee (currently $5).
