Florida law requires Registered, Licensed and State Certified Appraisers, licensed prior to November 30, 2007, to complete 30 hours of state approved continuing education before November 30, 2008.
This course is designed to meet the mandatory three-hour continuing education requirement for the Florida Real Estate Appraisers Certification Act and Board Regulations and Policies. The student will acquire a working knowledge of the structure and operation of the Florida State Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers, and be encouraged to communicate with the Board and to attend the Board's monthly meetings.
The responsibility of the individual appraiser to file a complaint when he or she becomes aware of improper appraisal practice is discussed, and the process by which complaints are investigated is described. The course is concluded with a discussion of the necessary qualifying education, experience, and continuing education required by the various licensing categories.
Approved by the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) of The Appraisal Foundation as course number ACE0007284.
