- Q: Can I get a Florida Real Estate License if I'M not a citizen of the USA or Florida Resident?

- Q: What are the qualifications to become a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate?
A:
- Take and complete FREC Course I at Real Estate School Online)
- Pass 63 hour FREC course I by taking class exam with a Grade of 70 or higher on the end-of-course exam
- 100 question worth 1 point each and is normally organized with 45 questions on principles and practices, 45 questions on real estate law and 10 math questions.
- Complete 45 hrs of POST LICENSE education before first renewal (18-24 months) or license is void (start over): 14 hrs of continuing education every 2 years thereafter
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good character and reputation
- Q: What are the qualifications to become a Florida Real Estate Broker?
A:
- Must fulfill 12 months of real estate experience during the 5-year period preceding becoming licensed as a broker (6 months of the experience must be completed before enrolling in the broker course).
- May be employed by: (1) one or more active brokers; (2) government agency as employee performing real estate licensee duties; or (3) out-of-state broker licensee for 12 months during the preceding 5 years.
- May apply out-of-state experience.
- Must have completed the 45 hour salesperson post-license education requirements if became licensed as a Florida Salesperson since Jan. 1, 1989.
- Q: What are the seven steps to obtain a Florida Real Estate License?

I. Enroll in our Sales Associate License course either Online or by CD-ROM
II. Apply for your Florida Real Estate License
III.Set up appointment with Promissor to take electronic finger prints. Call 1-877-238-8232.
IV. Pass our final exam with a grade of 70% or greater and receive a course completion slip (slips are mailed every Thursday via email unless a rush request is asked)
V. Wait for the national testing vendor to notify you that you are eligible to take the State exam. *******TAKE OUR CRAM COURSE WHILE YOU ARE WAITING. ********
VI. IMPORTANT: Bring the course completion slip we provided you to the state exam testing site.
VII. Pass the state exam with a grade of 75% or better within TWO years of passing our online or CD-ROM Course. YOU WILL HAVE YOUR LICENSE!
- Q: Is Florida Real Estate School An Approved Real Estate School To Offer Online Courses?
A: YES ! We are an approved Florida Real Estate School permitted to offer online courses for Pre, Post and CE courses for both the Sales Associate and Brokers under permit #1002048
- Q: I finished the CD-ROM class and am not able to upload my results, What do I do?
A: You can print the results page and fax that info to us. Please call us at 800-257-5526 for our fax number.
- Q: How long do I have to complete the course?
A: You can access your course for up to a full year
- Q: What is the difference between Online and the CD Rom course?
A: Both courses are essentially the same.
Online:Can be accessed anywhere, from any computer worldwide with internet access.
Does not time you so student is not required to spend the allotted amount of time on the computer.
CD Rom: Limited to one computer
Records the amount of time spent on the course and requires students to spend a minimum number of hours before taking course exam.
- Q: When do I receive my completion slip?
A: Completion slips are created and sent to you via email weekly every Thursday. If you have completed a Post License or Continuing Education course we also update the state electronically. If you do need your completion certificate sooner we can expedite this process and send it to you within 24 hrs for a small charge.
During the renewal (9/1 – 9/30 or 3/1 – 3/30) period we do update the state electronically on a daily basis. If it is outside the renewal period then we update the state electronically once a week every Thursday.
- Q: How do I check the status of my license? How do I renew my license?

- Q: What is the passing rate for your course?
A: The state will not allow us to disclose this, but the pre-license students who upgrade to our Package to Passing have a higher pass rate than those who just take the basic course.
- Q: How do I get the answers to the questions in the book?
A: For pre license books you can find the answers at the website located on the back cover of the book. For post license courses we can email the answers to you. Just email us at information@realestateschoolonline.com.
- Q: My course has expired and I want to continue what can I do?
A: Please call us at 800-257-5526 to process a course extension.
- Q: What is your refund and exchange policy?
A: We do not offer refunds or exchanges under any circumstances.
- Q: Help! My computer crashed/I lost power/I lost internet connection/etc. while taking my final exam. What now?
A: Contact Technical support at 888-213-5124 to have your exam reset. Tech support is available 24x7.
- Q: How long will it take for me to receive my order?
A: If your order was for online materials then you should receive an email shortly after your order with login instructions. If you ordered a CD-ROM or book, then we will ship it by US Priority Mail within 1 business day. You should receive it in 2-4 business days.
- Q: What happens if I fail the final exam?
A: Except for the 14-hr continuing education course, Florida state law requires you to wait 30 days before taking the alternate (second chance) exam. This is not a policy of our school, it is the Florida state law. This second chance exam is available online at no charge (FOR FREE). However, with all of the bonus materials we include for FREE with our courses, our students typically do very well on their exams.
- Q: I purchased the textbook for my Sales Associate or Broker pre-license course, but where are the answers to the quizzes and practice final exam?
A: Look on the back cover of your book for a link that contains the answers.
- Q: I purchased your package to passing, but I cannot seem to find the cram course, flashcards, or test-taking techniques course.
A: These three bonus materials are custom-made to prepare you to pass the STATE exam on the first try. Our instructors determined your best chance of success is to send you these bonuses with your course completion slip so that you do not get distracted from passing the actual course exam. Rest assured that you will receive access to these bonuses when you need them. If you do want to have access to these 3 bonuses prior to completing the course (which we do not recommend), simply call or email us and ask for them and we will email the information to you.
